2007 NBA Draft

I went back to Sacramento to work out for a few days before the Draft with my conditioning trainer Greg and my basketball trainer Guss. The day of the Draft, I was somewhat nervous, but knew that nothing was in my hands anymore. I had to leave my fate up to team owners, GM's , and coaches. I received a call from my agent saying that the Houston Rockets had called and were interesting in selecting me at the 54th pick. I didn’t watch much of the Draft, but all I remember was my conditioning trainer yelling "DAMN" when the Houston Rockets picked Aaron Brooks at the 27th pick, which meant my chances of being picked by Houston at 54th were just shattered. I ended up going undrafted that night and was disappointed, but not nearly as disappointed as my trainer because he knew how hard I had worked. He nearly had tears in his eyes for the rest of the night.
